Commander MILLHOG
Designed to bevel all schedules of pipe from 3.75" to 14" O.D., the Commander MILLHOG features a clamping system that spreads contact points radially inside the pipe — minimizing vibration for chatter-free end preps on both thin and heavy wall pipe.
Designed to bevel all schedules of pipe from 3.75″ (95.3mm) I.D. to 14.0″ (355.6mm) O.D., the Commander MILLHOG Model C-314 features a clamping system that spreads the contact points of the clamps radially inside the pipe. This minimizes vibration for chatter-free end preps on both thin and heavy wall pipe.
To assure stable, smooth rotation of the cutterhead, this rugged tool employs dual opposed tapered roller bearings. Powerful and versatile, torque at the cutter blade for the Commander is achieved with a choice of three motor options suited to fit your application. Like all MILLHOG tools, the Commander MILLHOG is simple to operate and ruggedly designed for years of trouble-free service.

Adjustable Tool Post — D-57
The D-57 Adjustable Tool Post allows operators to fine tune their cutting blades to precisely the right position for the most accurate weld prep profiles when using the Commander, Dictator, and Dictator II MILLHOG machines. Features a carriage design as well as the ESCO wedge style blade lock system.
Blade Block — C-52
The Commander MILLHOG cutterhead has 3 positions to mount blade blocks so that multiple angles of bevel can be performed at once. Both the basic and complete kits come with 2 blade blocks, but additional blade blocks can be purchased separately.
Safety Spring Hanger — CD-SH
The Commander/Dictator Safety Spring Hanger is designed to safely support the weight of the tool, while allowing for slight up and down movement to make mounting easier. The safety chain prevents the possibility of over extending the spring and provides a fail safe catch should the springs fail.
Torque Multiplier Gear Box — CD-GB
The Torque Multiplier Gear Box fits both the Commander and Dictator and is designed to be easily installed with all motor options. When the Gear Box is attached, the cutterhead rpm is cut in half while torque is doubled, making it ideal for larger pipe or pipe with heavy wall thickness.
Right Angle Drive — CD-RA
The Right Angle Drive easily attaches to the Commander or Dictator housing so that the motor can be mounted to the side of the tool, rather than straight. Allows for adaptation when there are space restrictions on a job site, but does not compromise the function of the tool.
