The ESCO Membrane and Overlay Removal Head features proprietary inserts shaped like golf tees, rather than screws, that can be easily rotated to utilize their 360 degree cutting edge. Capable of removing boiler tube membrane and overlay plus beveling simultaneously, the head is available to fit MILLHOG end prep tools covering a tube range from 7/8″ to 3″ O.D.
As the ESCO Membrane and Overlay Removal Head rotates, the holding forces of the inserts are multiplied which minimizes vibration, reduced heat, and promotes long-life. Simple to use, the golf-tee shaped inserts tap into place and are removed the same way. The head also holds a beveling blade. It is available for sale or rent with a new tool or retrofit.
