Not your ordinary screw. The ESCO Blade Lock Screw has both right hand and left hand threads that produce an unmatched holding force.
The ESCO Blade Lock Screw is double threaded, both right and left hand, and produces the force that presses the ESCO Blade Lock against Cutter Blade clamping surface and holds the Cutter Blade in the Cutterhead. When tightened, this screw produces a holding force that is many times more powerful than that of a single threaded screw.
