Actuators keep the Clamp Ribs evenly spaced and align them with the Mandrel.
The Actuator is threaded onto and then pinned to the Draw Rod. It captures one end of the Clamp Ribs in a slot and when the Draw Rod Wench is activated it permits them to evenly expand and contract on the tapered Mandrel. Three Actuators are available for the Ground. The G-01 Clamp Ribs use the G-17A Actuator, the G-02 Clamp Ribs use the G-02 Actuator and G-03 – G-13 Clamp Ribs all use the G-17 Actuator.
